At the Kevin Burke workshop I recently attended, someone posed a question regarding which strings he recommended. Kevin said that he uses Obligato strings. I ordered a set and installed them on Bronwyn yesterday. They have a markedly focused, clear, and sweet tone, without any trace of harshness.

I live in the countryside 20 miles northwest of Cincinnati, OH and am self employed as a chess instructor. I truly appreciate my independence and the opportunity to work with children. I am a latecomer to music, taking on classical violin and Irish/Scottish fiddling at age 50. I have several adopted pets and a great reverence for nature.
