Found an extremely useful web page on a site called Concertina.net. It is the ABC Convert-A-Matic and it takes an abc text string and automagically gives back a midi file, a PDF file and correctly formatted ABC source text.

I live in the countryside 20 miles northwest of Cincinnati, OH and am self employed as a chess instructor. I truly appreciate my independence and the opportunity to work with children. I am a latecomer to music, taking on classical violin and Irish/Scottish fiddling at age 50. I have several adopted pets and a great reverence for nature.
